What is The Pod Works?
A mom minded Tacoma business designed as a safe, cozy haven for whatever Mama needs, especially in the early years. A special place for anything from a birthday party or workshop rental, to a community clubhouse to meet friends and teach our children, to a shared office equipped with wifi, coffee, snacks and toys (perfect for ages 2-7).
The Pod Works was born to empower and uplift other local mothers in the swing between work and play. It’s why our walls are decorated with mom made art and lady-boss goods and services are featured everywhere from the display case in the entry to the events that happen here. It’s why we joined forces with The Pod Collective to offer resources and business training to those who need it. It’s also why we encourage play-to-work swaps between moms to allow us to do it all and get it done, while enjoying the journey.
How Does It Work?
